2. plastic pollution .

Plastic has become one of the most used substances. It is seen everywhere these days, from supermarkets to common households. 

The main reason is that plastic is very cheap. It costs lesser than other alternatives like paper and cloth.

Furthermore, we see that plastic is a non-biodegradable material. It does not leave the face of the Earth. We cannot dissolve plastic in land or water, it remains forever. 

Plastic Pollution is affecting the whole earth, including mankind, wildlife, and aquatic life. 

Plastic pollutes our water. Each year, tonnes of plastic are dumped into the ocean. 

Furthermore, plastic pollutes our land as well. When humans dump Plastic waste into landfills, the soil gets damaged. 

Most importantly, plastic pollution harms the Marine life. 

In short, we see how plastic pollution is ruining everyone’s life on earth. We must take major steps to prevent it. We must use alternatives like cloth bags and paper bags instead of plastic bags

3. Advantage and disadvantage of Internet.

The internet is a global system of interconusected computer networks. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business and government networks. It carries an extensive range of information resources and services. The internet can be accessed by попыта means, te. mobile phones, data cards, cellular routes, etc. The prevalent language for communication on the internet has been English. E-mail is an important communication service available on the internet. Messages can be exchanged even more quickly via e-mail. We can conduct video chat and video-conference through webcams. Youtube is now the leading website for free streaming video with a vast number of users. Social networking websites, such as, Facebook, Twitter and Orial have created new ways to socialize and interact. Many people use internet to access news, weather and sports reports. All the newspapers, magazines are available on internet. Multiplayer gaming is another area of leisure activity on the internet. Many people download pictures, music, movies for their enjoyment. it is true that every scientific invention carries with it some disadvantages and internet is no exception. Cyber crimes like data blackmailing, hacking, etc. are associated with internet. The computer with internet connection may easily be damaged by mailing virus through e-mails. Barting this disadvantage, the internet is a modern wonder, and it is changing our world at the click of only a button.

My neighbor, who lives just next door, is a generous and helpful person. He always smiles and says hello to everyone, which makes our neighbourhood feel friendly and pleasant. 

Our area is calm, with well-kept lanes bordered by trees that provide a refreshing atmosphere. There is a feeling of community among the residents, and the majority of the homes are kept up nicely. 

Nearby, there's a park where kids play and adults stroll in the evenings, as well as a neighborhood market where everyone gathers for their weekly shopping. 

A well-kept neighborhood and amiable neighbors combine to provide the ideal ratio of efficiency to comfort.

6. Duties of student.

Student life is the seed-bed of life itself. A student of today is a citizen (নাগরিক) of tomorrow. For this he has to do some duties. The primary duty of a student is to study hard and acquire (অর্জন করা) knowledge (জ্ঞান). He should also lead a disciplined (সুশৃঙ্খল) life. He must obey (মেনে চলা) his parents and learn to respect (সম্মান) his elders and teachers. He should acquire (অর্জন করা) such qualities as honesty (সততা), truthfulness (সত্যবাদীতা), courage (সাহসী), dutifulness (কর্তব্যপরায়ন). He should not be mean or selfish (স্বার্থপর). As the future citizen of the country he has some responsibilities (দ্বায়িত্ব). He may share his knowledge (জ্ঞান) with the poor students or help the illiterate (শিক্ষিত) and the senior citizens. Besides, he can play an important role in removing ignorance (কুসংস্কার) from the society. On the whole he should try to make himself a responsible (দ্বায়িত্বশীল) citizen of the country.

7. Importance of English.

English is a global language. It helps us communicate with people all over the world. In our country English occupies a very important position. The British introduced the language to India during their nearly two-hundred-year rule. Now, English is being taught as a second language all over India. After the independence India adopted Hindi as its official state language. But English was given the same importance. Over the years English language is gaining more importance. In the international field English is used in many parts of the world. India is a country where many regional languages are spoken. English is the only link language in inter-state communication. Recently, we have witnessed the globalization of trade and commerce. So multinational companies are opening in every field in our country. English is the only language that serves as a means of communication in the world of trade and commerce. Finally books for higher studies and information through computer and internet are available mostly in English language. All these have made learning English language absolutely necessary.

8. Global worming.

Global warming is a major problem which our environment faces today. It is the increase in temperature of the earth's atmosphere. The scientists have indicated that during 21st century the global surface temperature is likely to rise 2-4°C to 6-4°C. According to the scientists, global warming is caused mostly by the increase of the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluro carbon which are the normal by-products of industrialization and excessive use of fossil fuels. Thinning of the ozone layer is another cause of global warming. Global warming may lead to environmental disasters like rapid melting of polar ice caps and widespread flooding of coastal plains. It is predicted that rainfall will become extremely uncertain, and agriculture will be affected severely. Topographical changes, drought, tsunami, heatwave are the probable consequences of global warming. Worldwide awareness should be created about the danger of warming and measures should be adopted to control the emission of greenhouse gases. Restriction in the use of fossil fuels and large-scale afforestation are the possible remedies to save the earth from further warming

9. Uses of Mobile phone

Mobile phone is one of the greatest (মহৎ) invention (আবিস্কার) of the science. The mobile phone has changed the whole communication (যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা ) system. Letter posting (চিঠি পাঠানো) is now history. Telegraph / Telegram is now died. The mobile phone is the best medium (মাধ্যম) of communication. This is also in almost all hands, from a business man to a young school girl. Beside the communication a mobile phone is using as a camera, MP3/ MP4 player, phone book, calculater, clock, calender, torch, internet browser and so on. There can be no denial of the necessity (প্রয়োজন) of the cell phone. But all is not gold here. A few selfish (স্বার্থপর) persons and criminals (অপরাধী) are using the mobile phone to fulfil their target. So, proper caution (সাবধানতা) is needed (প্রয়োজন) in the use of the phone.

 

10. Memorable day in your life.

Now I am a student of class X. I cannot forget the first day at my school. It is a memorable day for me. I was admitted in class V at Naktala High School, one of the best in South Kolkata. My father accompanied me to the main gate of the school. Then the gatekeeper received me with a sweet smile amid many other students. Following the other boys and the instructions of the gateman, I reached my classroom. I was feeling extremely nervous. As soon as I was seated, I found most other students entering the room with varied looks. Before the class teacher arrived, some boys made friendly gestures. I was still a little bit confused. I feared that they might make fun of me. But they made friendly expressions. Thus we made friendship for the first time in my school life. I was relieved of fear but still I felt a little tense. The class teacher then entered. We all stood up. Some greeted the teacher with 'Good morning. But I could not. The class teacher asked my name and details of previous school. I answered timidly. He then stated the rules of the school. He then asked some questions in English. He was pleased with my answers and conduct. All my imaginary fears about school and teachers vanished. I felt confident to be a student of a reputed school. I returned home in glee. The memory of my first day at school is really unforgettable and memorable.

11. Festival of Bengal.

West bengal is a land of festivals and we, the Bengalees, are lovers of festivals. Here people celebrate many festivals throughout the year. The greatest festival of the Hindus, Durgapuja is held in autumn. The advent of Goddes Durga along with her children from Kailash to her paternal house is believed to bring prosperity to all. Then come Lakshmi puja, Kalipuja, Bhratridwitiya one after another On Kalipuja or Diwali the Hindas worship Goddess Kali and decorate their houses with lights. In spring, the Bengalees observe Holi which is a festival ot youthful vigout and colour. The Muslims in Bengal observe the festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Muharram, etc. After a full month of fasting in the month of Ramjan, the Muslims celebrate Eid with festivity. Eid-ul-Adha o Bakat-end is the festival of sacrifice. Animal sacrifice is one of the key features of thus festival. The Christians also celebrate Christmas, Good Friday and Easter with enthusiasm. Besides these religious festivals, saame non-religious festivals are allo observed. The Independence Day The Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti. Netaji Jayanti are observed with respect. Nowadays book fairs and film festivals have become much popular. Festivals are important because people of diment religionis my get together and in this way a sense of brotherhood is telt, But today some emotional evennes ate toticeable among the young people that may harm social integrity. So we all have t be cautious and careful

6. Your idea of a ideal man.

It is very difficult to define a gentleman in a word or in a sentence. Yet, we may call a person a gentleman who is polite in his behaviour to all and who is kind and friendly to all in society. He should be considerate to all. He should take special care of those who are really helpless, weak and suffering. He should be friendly and should not do or say anything that hurts anyone's feelings. He should be tactful enough to deal with any unfavourable situation he faces. He should have the ability to turn any occasion of friction or quarrel into friendship. Moreover, he should never take the help of any falsehood, whatever the situation may be. He should support the good, but not the evil. We should never forget that a man is known by his conduct, not by his appearance or wealth. A man may be economically poor or socially unimportant, but his polite and harmless behaviour makes him a true gentleman. Now we are living in an age of stress and strain. Here everyone is engaged in a rat race for wealth and power. In such a situation, it may be argued, it is difficult for a person to retain his gentleness. But it cannot be true. A gentleman will always be found showing his ideals of goodness. Such a man is always respected by everybody.

12. Your aim in life.

Every man has an aim in life. An aimless (লক্ষ্যহীন) life is like a rudderless (দাঁড়বিহীন) ship. I want to be a teacher. It is a noble profession (মহৎ পেশা). The teachers are the backbone (মেরুদন্ড) of the society (সমাজ). A teacher exercises great influence (প্রভাব) over his students. He not only imparts (প্রদান করা) knowledge (জ্ঞান) to them but also teaches them to know the right and the wrong. He is actually a friend, philosopher (দার্শনিক) and guide (পথপ্রদর্শক) to the students. Only ideal teachers can build an ideal (আদর্শ) nation. A teacher is always respected (সম্মানিত হওয়া) by all. But for that I have to work hard (কঠোর). If I can achieve (সফলতা অর্জন) my dream, I shall try to set examples (উদাহরন) before my students.

14. A book you have recently read.

I have recently read/seen a book/film entitled 'Chander Pahar' written by Bibhuti Bhushan Bandhapadhay. The book is about an adventurous life style (দুঃসাহসিক জীবনধারা). In the book /film Shankar a young man went to Africa to serve British company. There he faced lion, snake, elephant, chitta, baboon and also munip in Africa. He got a company (সঙ্গ) of Alvarej. They were trying to find out diamond mine (হীরের খনি). Alvarej was killed by the munip and Shankar wanted to come back in the main island from the deserted places (নির্জন জায়গা). In the way he met a few difficulties (অসুবিধা), though he unconsciously (অজ্ঞাতভাবে) discovered the diamond mine. After hardship of life he reached in a town. I have read/seen it a few times. Every time I enjoy aesthetic (নান্দনিক অনুভূতি) feeling. It is seemed that I am Shankar and I am wandering in the deep forest with Alvarej.
