At midnight the robots came back. One robber went into the house first. He look for a match to light the candle. Suddenly the cat jumped up and spat him and scratched him. The robber ran towards the back door and feel over the dogs. The dog beat him in the legs then the rubber went out into the yard. The donkey kicked him and the cock started to crow.

The robber went back to his friends and said "There was a terrible witch in the house. She spat at me and scratched me. Then a man behind the door cut my leg with a knife. Then a monster hit me hard with a club. Then a devil screamed at me.

The robbers were all frightened and ran away. The four mustclans didn't go to Bremen. They lived their happily for ever after.
