XII-4TH ENGLISH(B)

1. Describe the character of Maurya in the play Raider to the Sea.

Maurya is the central character  in the play 'Riders to the Sea ' written by J.M Synge.  All the people of the Aran islands are completely dependent (নির্ভর করা ) on the sea for their livelihood (জীবনধারন করা ). All the male members of Maurya's family went to sea but none of them returned. Maurya's husband, father-in-law, and six sons are all dead. After the death of her  last son, Bartley, Maurya Said that she has lost everything. She has nothing left to lose or protect (রহ্মা করা ) from the sea.

Maurya tried to protect (রহ্মা করা ) the male members of his family from the sea, but she failed. Finally she accepted (মেনে নেওয়া ) her fate (ভাগ্য ). Since all the male members of her family died in the sea, she no longer has to collect holy water in the dark nights after Samhain . She realized (উপলব্ধি করা ) that no one can live forever (চিরকাল) . So it is not possible to avoid (এড়িয়ে চলা ) death. This statement showed her courage (সাহস ) and determination (সংকল্প) . In this way, J. M Synge gave a description (বর্ণনা) of the struggle (লড়াই) of destiny (অদৃষ্ট)  and human life in the play.

Digital India is a program started by the government to make life easier with the help of technology. It aims to connect every part of India, including villages, with the internet. This helps people do many things online, such as sending money, shopping, learning, and even working. Earlier, people had to wait in long lines to pay bills or get government services. Now, with Digital India, they can do all these things online from their homes.

For students, Digital India is very helpful. Schools now have smart classes, where children learn using computers and videos. There are many apps and websites that help students learn new things. Farmers benefit too. They can check the weather, learn about new seeds, and sell their crops online.

Small businesses have grown a lot because of Digital India. Shopkeepers can use mobile apps for payments, and they can sell their products online to more customers. Doctors can give advice to patients through video calls, which helps people in remote areas get medical care.

Digital India also helps reduce the use of paper. Many government services, like applying for certificates or paying taxes, can now be done online. This saves time and protects the environment.

Digital India has made life simple, fast, and better for everyone. It helps people connect, learn, and grow. This program is changing India and making it a modern, smart country. When we grow up, we can also use technology to do many great things. Digital India shows that with technology, we can make the world a better place!
